YES X NO <br />If"YES" , please include a copy of the articles of incorporation, and the Bylaws with this <br />application form.) <br /> <br />The Grand Valley Water Users Association (GVWUA) was approached by the Bureau of Reclamation <br />working on behalf of the Recovery Implementation Program for Endangered Fish of the Upper Colorado River <br />(RIP) to study and then implement the proposed project. The GVWUA would not have pursued the proposed <br />project in the foreseeable future in the absence of the RIP. Since funding for the necessary studies, permitting, <br />construction, and operation and maintenance have been provided, the GVWUA has cooperated and will <br />cooperate to operate the canal system in a manner that will conserve water assuming Federal permitting issues <br />are resolved. <br />
