GTC
was the Town of Johnstown's largest potable water user, so their
closing would have a significant impact on our water revenues.
After conversations with representatives of GTC their plans are to
remain in operation at half the volume for possibly the next 3
years through April, 2000.

The Board of Trustees approved an increase in the water tap fees
and an increase in the monthly water user fees at their last
regular scheduled meeting on Monday, July 21/ 1997. A copy of the
Resolution adopting these new fees is enclosed. With this new
increase the Board of Trustees feel comfortable that all
commitments to the CWCB can be fulfilled.

~::y,~

Diana Seele
Town Clerk

DS/

Enclosure

cc: Board of Trustees
Vern Haefele, Town Administrator
John Burgeson, Town Engineer
Russ Anson, Town Attorney
Stephen Williamson, Water Attorney

o ~
