We understand that the loan will be used to enhance and eXPartd <br />an existing recharge project for well augmentation. I <br />I <br />I <br />The Board approved a loan in a maximum amount of $195,435 (including the 1 % loan service charg1> <br />with loan terms of2.25% per annum for 20 years. I have attached a copy of the updated Board m~o <br />that includes a section "Action taken by the CWCB on November 17, 2004:' I call your attention to I <br />the approval condition added by the Board that requires members to personally guarantee the loan. I <br />I <br />When the Board approves a loan there remain several conditions: I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a) A Feasibility Study is required. Bruce Johnson has reviewed the study titied <br />"Feasibility of Construction of the Buffalo Farms Water Development, LLC <br />I <br />Augmentation Project - AUgus. t 2004. .." No further action is required of you on this it~. <br />The report, in combination with the CWCB board memo dated November 5, 2004 '11 <br />meet the requirements of the CWCB Construction Fund Guidelines for feasibi'ty <br />di I <br />~~ I <br /> <br />b) An approved contract must be in place before funds can be advanced. Chad Hender~on <br />will place this project on our contracting "hot list" and will initiate the loan contrac~" g <br />process.
