SLCC is a limited liability
company and has never been incorporated. SLCC is owned by four
members of the Stromberger family, with each family member having
an equal share in the company.

SLCC has approximately 1923 acres of sprinkler irrigated farm
ground. The ground is irrigated with 12 tributary groundwater
wells, which were drilled in the late 1960's and early 1970's.
The wells pump on average 5000 acre-feet of water annually. The
water is typically used to irrigate corn, alfalfa, beans, and
wheat. The 12 wells are currently augmented under the Groundwater
Appropriators of the South Platte (GASP) plan of operation, see
Appendix A for 2001 GASP records.

Project Service Area

The service area, or the SLCC farm, is located in Logan County,
approximately 15 miles Northeast of Sterling, Colorado. The SLCC
farm is located on the South side of the South Platte River. The
1923 acres of the SLCC are located across 10 different sections
of land.
