A feasibility study for the repairs is currently being prepared by <br />Davis Engineering of Alamosa and win be forwarded to you as soon as it is <br />completed. <br />There are four major categories of the repair project: <br />1. Construction of a cofer dam to control water flow during the repair and <br />dismantling after project's completion. <br />2. Construction of a new trash rack. <br />3. Repair of the old water gate and clean out the bmnel which is filled with <br />silt, rocks and tree trash as a result of the collapse of the old trash rack. <br />4-. hnplementation of a more efficient lifting mechanism for water control <br />gate. <br />Since these repairs are of an emergency nature we ask you immediate <br />consideration. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />John L.
