<br />THE TERRACE IRRIGATION COMPANY <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING <br />MARCH 25, 200 <br /> <br />The Terrace Irrigation Board of Directors met on March 25,2004. Members present were <br />Rodney Reinhardt, Bryan Christensen, and John Riddick. Also present were Luis Heredia and <br />Kay Harmon. President Rod Reinhardt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The minutes of the March 9,2004 meeting were approved as read. <br /> <br />Bryan moved to accept the [mancial statement and to pay the bills presented for payment. John <br />seconded, motion carried. Bills approved were SL V Earth Movers - $7612.50; Mackey <br />Construction - $926.95; and Woodman Construction - $2,500.00. <br /> <br />Luis' Report - Gauge Height - 58.6 cfs for 2239 ac.ft. <br />In -105 cfs <br />Out - 108 cfs average <br /> <br />Old Business <br />CWCB Loan - Rod reported that we have received all the loan documents. We need to get a <br />legal opinion on the loan before it will receive final approval. Felix has been contacted to <br />complete this opinion. <br /> <br />Bryan moved to approve borrowing $245,430 from the Colorado Water Conservation Board and <br />to sign all the loan documents presented. John seconded, motion carried. <br /> <br />New Business <br />Luis reported that he spoke with Joe McCann about flushing out the river. Joe said we would <br />need to talk to Steve Vandiver and notify the rest of the river users. It was not clear who would <br />have to pay for the cleanup of the river. Rod reported that Shawcrofts want us to put 400 ac.ft. <br />into the river to see how much sediment is going to go through. <br /> <br />Ditch Work <br />Luis reported that there is about 80' of the Creek Canal and 40' of Main canal that needs to have <br />the concrete tom out and replaced. A work date was set for either April I st or 2nd. <br /> <br />Almnosa River Foundation <br />Rod reported that the Foundation isn't going to help the Terrace with any of the costs for the <br />repairs to the reservoir because the master plan has not been completed at this time.
