Replacement Water Supplies <br /> <br />Following are sources of LA WMA's replacement water that are currently used to augment <br />the stream depletions caused by LA WMA member well pumping or caused by other structures <br />requiring augmentation that are operated by LA WMA members: <br /> <br />A. Annual purchases of Fryingpan-Arkansas return flow water from the SECWCD. <br /> <br />B. Excess consumptive use credits from Lamar Canal shares owned by Colorado Beef <br />which Colorado Beef does not use in its Arkansas River Use Rules replacement plan. <br /> <br />C. Consumptive use credits from Lamar Canal shares owned by the Colorado Division <br />of Wildlife in the purchase of water rights on the Center Farm and Lamar Canal shares <br />obtained by agreement with the City of Lamar. <br /> <br />D. Consumptive use credits associated with up to 1,755 shares of the Fort Bent Ditch <br />Company that LA WMA owns or has the right to use. <br /> <br />E. Consumptive use credits from ownership of 67.5 cfs of the 69.0 cfs decreed to the <br />X- Y Canal and all of the conservation storage water allocated to the X- Y and Graham <br />Article II Storage Account in John Martin Reservoir. <br /> <br />F. Consumptive use credits from ownership of all ofthe Manvel Canal water rights and <br />all of the conservation storage water allocated to the Manvel Article II Storage <br />Account in John Martin Reservoir. <br /> <br />G. Consumptive use credits from ownership of all of the Stubbs portion of the Sisson- <br />Stubbs Ditch and the conservation storage water allocated to the Stubbs portion of <br />the Sisson-Stubbs Article II Storage Account in John Martin Reservoir. <br /> <br />H. Credit from the portion of transit loss of deliveries to the Offset Account of <br />replacement water from LA WMA's Highland Canal water rights that is not consumed <br />in transit. <br /> <br />I. Credit from the portion of transit loss of water annually purchased by LA WMA and <br />delivered to the Offset Account that is not consumed in transit. <br /> <br />J. Credit for the portion of releases from the Kansas Transit Loss Account for in-state <br />depletions above the Buffalo Canal headgate that is not consumed in transit. <br /> <br />K. Consumptive use credits from ownership of3,421 outof3,800 shares of the Highland <br />Canal or approximately 90% of the Highland Canal water rights. <br /> <br />4 <br />
