I. <br />appreciate your assistance on the project. <br /> <br />The two major work items remaining in the contract between the CWCB and the Red Mesa Ward <br />Reservoir and Ditch Company is the submission and negotiation of the 404 Pennit and marketing <br />of the water from the enlarged reservoir. The 404 Pennit application was sent on the date of this <br />letter (copy attached); negotiations with the Corp of Engineers, US Fish and_WIldlife Service, and <br />others should begin shortly. Myself and Trent Taylor will be meeting with Janice Sheftel on <br />, F ebiuary 3 to arrange, the 'legal aspects of marketing the water. <br />iI <br /> <br />Also, as a note, the Ditch Company is now the official owner of the land under the existing <br />reservoir. <br /> <br />Please call if you have any questions.
