Walcher <br />Executive Director <br /> <br />Dan McAuliffe <br />Acting Director <br /> <br />Re: Loan Authorization Review <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Smalley: <br /> <br />The Colorado Water Conservation Board will be reviewing the status of the Canal Check <br />Structure project (as authorized in SB 97-008) at the next Board meeting. The meeting will take <br />place November 20 and 21,2000 in Room 318 of the State Centennial Building located at 1313 <br />Sherman Street in Denver. <br /> <br />The Board reviews the status of all projects that do not have a fully executed loan contract within <br />three years of the project's authorization. The Board may recommend to deauthorize a project for <br />which a loan contract does not appear to be imminent. Your project may fall in this category. <br /> <br />Please advise us in writing (Fax is OK) no later than November 3rd as to the Company's intent <br />with regard to this project. If the Company intends to pursue completion of the project please be <br />sure to include the following items in your letter: <br /> <br />. The status of planning activities for the project <br />. The status of project financing activities <br />.
