Implementation Schedule

The NRCS has completed the 75% design surveys.
Designs will be completed by 10-2003 by NRCS
Construction can begin at any time and completed by fall of 2004.

Permitting

All easements and rights of way have been arranged for. The project will not involve any
Army Corp of Engineering 404 permitting.

I nstitutional Considerations

Entities that are, or may be, involved in the design, construction, and financing of the
project include:

1) El Viejo Ditch; financing and project management.
2) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS); financing, surveys, designs, and
construction inspection.
3) Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB); financing

The EI Viejo Ditch members Jim Braiden (agent), Paul Faucette and Alan Miller will be
the lead for the financing, design, and construction of the project and will be the entity
entering into contracts and agreements with the various entities for the services
provided by each.

Financial Analysis

Several entities will be involved in financing the estimated total project cost. The EI
Viejo Ditch is applying for a loan from the CWCB in the amount of $77,154 to
accommodate the 63% Company cost share. The actual or estimated amounts by entity
are given in Table 2.
