An agreement with the Montezuma Valley Irrigation Company (MVIC) to purchase,
lease, or otherwise utilize water that MVIC is not fully utilizing. MVIC is allocated
approximately 142,900 acre-feet from Dolores Project facilities but has been using on the
average about 8,000 acre-feet less than that amount. A major component of the WET
PACK is the necessity to develop an agreement with MVIC to utilize all or a portion of
the unused water.

Utilization of capacity in Groundhog and Narraguinepp Reservoir to store McPhee spill
water.

Not sure this should be included.

In addition to the discretionary reserve, the funds for the additional 3,300 acre-feet offish water
is planned to be provided by grants from BLM and Colorado Division of Wildlife; these agencies
have submitted applications to various entities to obtain $5,775,000. The DWCD plans to utilize
the discretionary reserve and fish funds to pay the local cost sharing requirement (10% to 25% of
construction cost) and for the CWCB loan debt service. The remaining funds, after the local cost
sharing, would be placed in an interest bearing account with the interest used to repay the CWCB
debt. One of the project feasibility criteria will be that the CWCB debt service and the interest
derived from the funds be about the same.

Repayment reserve
Operating reserve
Capital reserve
Replacement reserve
Deficiency reserve
Discretionary reserve

$511,000
$506,000
$188,000
$511,000
$668,000
$6,063,000

Should these reserve fund amounts be
incl uded ????
