<br />the South Line of the Northeast Quarter Section and 425 feet East of the West <br />Line of the Northeast Quarter Section. <br /> <br />A First Amended Application for underground water rights for Rifle Correctional Center <br />Wells Nos. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 has been filed as Case No. 97CW59, Division 5. These six <br />new wells will be located upon lands near the lands on which the Rifle Correctional Center <br />has been constructed. The legal description for each new well is described above. Only <br />Rifle Correctional Center Well NO.5 is the same well which was described by that name in <br />the original Application in Case No. 97CW59. Rifle Correctional Center Wells Nos. 3 and <br />4, which were described in the original Application in Case No. 97CW59, have been <br />eliminated from both this case and Case No. 97CW59. Rifle Correctional Center Wells <br />Nos. 6-10 are located at new locations and were given new numbers to avoid confusion. <br /> <br />13. Description of water rights to be used in the augmentation plan: <br /> <br />13. 1. Heinze Ditch: <br /> <br />13.1.1. Priority No. 67 in former Water District 39 was originally <br />decreed for 1.0 cfs. In Case No. W-3758, 0.114 cfs associated with 8.1 <br />acres of dry-up was dedicated to the original augmentation plan for the <br />Rifle Gap Honor Camp, the headquarters buildings, maintenance shops, <br />and campgrounds of the Colorado Division of Parks and Outdoor <br />Recreation, and the staff residence quarters of the Colorado Division of <br />Wildlife. The remaining 0.886 cfs are involved in this augmentation plan. <br />After the deductions are made for the additional dry up of 18.8 acres to <br />replace depletions and reservoir evaporation losses described herein, the <br />allowable diversion rates will be reduced to 0.623 cfs under this Heinze <br />priority for irrigation purposes. <br /> <br />13 .1.2. Priority No. 102 in former Water District 39 was originally <br />decreed for 2.8 cfs. In Case No. W-3758, 0.319 cfs associated with 8.1 <br />acres of dry-up was dedicated to the original augmentation plan for the <br />Rifle Gap Honor Camp, the headquarters buildings, maintenance shops, <br />and campgrounds of the Colorado Division of Parks and Outdoor <br />Recreation, and the staff residence quarters of the Colorado Division of <br />Wildlife. The remaining 2.481 efs are involved in this augmentation plan. <br />After the deductions are made for the additional dry up of 18.8 acres to <br />replace depletions and reservoir evaporation losses described herein, the <br />allowable diversion rates will be reduced to 1.744 cfs under this Heinze <br />priority for irrigation purposes. <br /> <br />13.1.3. Priority No. 125 in former Water District No. 39 was <br />originally decreed for 0.8 cfs.
