This project is
intended to be a joint effort of the Colorado, South Platte, Metropolitan Area, and Arkansas
Basin Roundtables, in that the water users in each of these roundtables have responsibility for
insuring the continued compliance with the Programmatic Biological Opinion for the Colorado
River Endangered Fish. We feel this is a great opportunity for four of the nine roundtables to
work together in support of a very important and beneficial multi-basin project. I am writing this
letter on behalf of the officers, in that our support for this project was to be a consideration by
our full roundtable at our February meeting. Unfortunately, the meeting had to be canceled due
to weather. This issue will be included and considered at the March 14, 2007 Roundtable
meeting.

In the interim, we, the officers (Jonathon Fox, Vice-Chair; Jay Winner, Vice-Chair, and Gary
Barber, Recorder) want to make you and the Colorado Conservation Board aware of our support
and endorsement prior to your upcoming March 13 meeting.

Sincerely,

~C.~~

Alan C.
