<br />The Colorado Water Conservation Board's (CWCB's) online Water
<br />Resource Information Center (WRIC) is now powered by Laserfiche's
<br />WebLink.
<br />
<br />Virtual WRIC
<br />In conjlU1ction with the Division of Water Resources, the CWCB has
<br />recently led the Department of Natural Resources in migrating to a new
<br />centralized electronic document archival, retrieval and management
<br />system called Laserfiche. The web interface to Laserfiche is called
<br />WebLink.
<br />
<br />Documents have been categorized into 13 different areas of interest,
<br />which are available through the "Public Records" pages within each
<br />major section of the CWCB website. Descriptions of the
<br />templates/document classes, as well the document
<br />types, are available to help facilitate searching for
<br />information.

<br />Expanded Search Capabilities
<br />WebLink provides expanded search functionality, including full-text
<br />search. All ofCWCB's documents have been run through an "optical
<br />character recognition (OCR)" process, which allows the text of
<br />documents to be searched by key words and/or phrases. The Field
<br />search allows searching by indexed data specific to each
<br />template/document class.
