Recreational in-channel diversions and <br />in stream flow water rights studies - appropriation. (1) In addition to <br />any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys <br />in the Colorado water conservation board construction fund not otherwise <br />appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal year <br />beginning July 1, 2007, the sum of one hundred fifty thousand dollars <br />($150,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the board to . <br />complete studies evaluating how instream flow water rights and <br />recreational in-channel diversion water rights affect both current and <br />future management of Colorado's water and, providing an objective <br />analysis of the different methods for quantifying recreational in-channel <br />diversion water rights, and determining the economic benefits associated <br />'/lith both instream flo'll and recreational in channel diversion \vater <br />rights. This study should focus on determining whether there are <br />obiectively determinable flows for different recreational uses as a factor <br />that water courts must consider. and the other relevant factors established. <br />pursuant to Senate Bill 06-37. The scope of work for the project shall be <br />developed by the board. <br /> <br />.. <br />
