<br />beginning July I, 2007, the sum of two hundred thousand dollars <br />2 ($200,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the board to <br /> <br />3 complete a feasibility study for a decision support system in the upper <br />4 Arkansas river basin upstream of Pueblo reservoir. The study shall <br />5 determine the feasibility of developing a decision support system for the <br /> <br />6 upper Arkansas river basin, taking into account the basin-specific needs <br /> <br />7 and water resource challenges and shall identify the scope, functions, and <br />8 elements of the decision support system as well as the data needs, costs, <br />9 and schedule to develop the decision support system. <br />10 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall <br /> <br />11 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is <br /> <br />12 completed. <br />13 SECTION 7. Colorado decision support system modeling and <br /> <br />14 <br />15 <br /> <br />engineering support services - appropriation. (1) In addition to any <br /> <br />other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the <br /> <br />16 Colorado water conservation board construction fund not otherwise <br /> <br />17 appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal year <br /> <br />18 beginning July 1, 2007, the sum of two hundred thousand dollars <br />19 ($200,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for engineering <br /> <br />20 support services to assist staffin conducting technical modeling analysis <br /> <br />21 for instream flow issues, statewide water supply initiative issues, <br /> <br />22 interbasin compact issues, and other water resource planning support <br /> <br />23 needs utilizing the Colorado decision support system. <br />24 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) ofthis section shall <br />25 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is <br /> <br />26 completed. <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />SECTION 8.
