beginning July I, 2007, the sum of two hundred thousand dollars
2 ($200,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the board to

3 complete a feasibility study for a decision support system in the upper
4 Arkansas river basin upstream of Pueblo reservoir. The study shall
5 determine the feasibility of developing a decision support system for the

6 upper Arkansas river basin, taking into account the basin-specific needs

7 and water resource challenges and shall identify the scope, functions, and
8 elements of the decision support system as well as the data needs, costs,
9 and schedule to develop the decision support system.
10 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall

11 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is

12 completed.
13 SECTION 7. Colorado decision support system modeling and

engineering support services - appropriation. (1) In addition to any

other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the

16 Colorado water conservation board construction fund not otherwise

17 appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation board, for the fiscal year

18 beginning July 1, 2007, the sum of two hundred thousand dollars
19 ($200,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for engineering

20 support services to assist staffin conducting technical modeling analysis

21 for instream flow issues, statewide water supply initiative issues,

22 interbasin compact issues, and other water resource planning support

23 needs utilizing the Colorado decision support system.
24 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) ofthis section shall
25 remain available for the designated purposes until the project is

26 completed.
