My records indicate we have a remaining unused loan amount of$81,000 which is
nearly all committed to finishing the north side river diversion wells and recharge project.

OWW is nearing completion of it's facilities for an extensive augmentation plan covering about 45
wells in Morgan and Weld Counties. Approximately 30 different farm operations benefit from the
protection offered by the organization. We have been successfully replacing past and current
depletions to the river since the dissolution of GASP and each year have been approved for .
Substitute Water Supply Plans by the State Engineer. We are now preparing to enter our decree to
the Water Court in March 2007.

There are still a few projects in the works to add to and bolster our plan. As you and the board might
expect one of the most useful aspects of fleshing out a plan like ours would the addition of senior
water rights. One major expenditure was the acquisition of senior water rights at the GASP auction
in February 2006. We were able to purchase 4 additional shares of Riverside for a total of $144,000
using a bridge loan from Bank of Choice in Greeley but we have not secured permanent financing.
1n addition we have been in talks with an individual to purchase some rights out of another senior
ditch in the area along with land for dry up. We anticipate these additional expenditures to be
approximately $200,000 and are requesting this amount of increase to our original loan commitment.
Repayment for the increased loan would be a slight increase in annual assessments allocated to each
member. CWCB Board approval of our request would go a long way toward insuring success of our
decree application and continued agricultural production on a number of good farms in the Wiggins
area.

Sincerely,

.J:;Oh/

Steven Bruntz
OWW President

/~ ~
{;./~~~/

Ie

Serving Irrigators in Morgan County-Weld County-Wiggins-Fort /V/organ-Weldona-Orchard
