Attached is a proposed update of your Strategic Plan, including:
. An updated plan;
. Updated Objectives pertaining to major plan elements; and,
. An updated Board Member Work Plan.

Each year we ask the Board to review suggested changes to these planning documents.

This year the most significant changes are the result ofthe passage ofHB 06-1400 (the
approval of the Inter-basin Compact Commission Charter), SB 06-179 (the Water Supply
Reserve Account), SB 06-37 (changing your authority regarding In-channel Recreational
Diversions) and the Long Bill (which authorized the creation of a new Intrastate Water
Management and Development Section within the CWCB).

We have made the necessary changes in the Plan to allow us to implement these new
responsibilities.

We have added a new set of Objectives related to the new Intrastate Water Development
and Management section.

Your work plan outlines actions you are required to take by statute or rule, actions you
occasionally take by virtue of your position on the Board, and actions related to your role
as a representative of your river basin.

Recommendation

Review and approve the suggested revisions to the Strategic Plan, the Objectives and
your own Work Plan.
