18. Water Supply Protection Section - San Juan Recovery Program - Extend Cooperative
Agreement

Action: A motion was made by Don Schwindt and seconded by Carl Trick to approve
staff's recommendation that the Board recommend to the Governor that he sign
the proposed extension through the year 2023 of the Cooperative Agreement for
the San Juan River Basin Recovery Implementation Program. The motion was
approved unanimously (10-0).

20. Water Supply Protection Section - RICD Rules Recommendations

Action: A motion was made by Carl Trick and seconded by Travis Smith to approve
staff's recommendation that the Board: 1) Approve the rulemaking schedule
presented by staff. 2) Authorize the staff to work with the Office of the Attorney
General to initiate rulemaking by publishing the notice of rulemaking. Barbara
Biggs, Harold Miskel, and Tom Sharp were not present for the vote. The motion
was approved unanimously (7-0).

21. Water Supply Protection Section - Platte River Endangered Species Program

Action: A motion was made by Eric Wilkinson and seconded by Barbara Biggs to
approve staff's recommendation that the Board adopt the following amended
resolution, appropriately distribute the resolution, and instruct the staff to take
appropriate actions in support of the resolution:

WHEREAS, the State of Colorado is signatory to the South Platte River
Compact, C.R.S. Section 37-65-101, et seq., executed on behalf of the State on
the 27th day of April, 1923. The South Platte River Compact divides and
apportions the water of the South Platte River between the State of Colorado and
the State of Nebraska.
