Consent Agenda Item 1.g Case No. 5-06CW097: Application of Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority Application Summary This is an application for approval of a plan for augmentation and exchange on the Eagle River near Edwards. The Applicant proposes to augment directly or by exchange up to 625 acre-feet of water per year of out-of-priority depletions resulting from municipal and snowmaking diversions at a number of surface and ground water diversion points along the Eagle River and Gore Creek. The Applicant also seeks up to 625 acre-feet of out- of-priority diversion to storage in Wolford Mountain Reservoir. The application specifies several reservoirs in the Egeria Creek basin that include imported water from the Yampa River basin as sources of augmentation. To permit the requested out-of-priority diversions, the Applicant proposes to release up to 625 acre-feet of water per year from any part or combination of the Egeria Creek reservoirs and imported water from the Yampa River Basin. The Applicant seeks approval ofa plan to augment by exchange out-of-priority diversions from said diversion points. The downstream terminus of the exchange reach is the confluence of the Colorado and Eagle Rivers and the upstream termini are said diversion points. The Applicant seeks a May 25,2006 priority date for its exchange. The maximum rate of exchange for the subject diversion points is 10 cfs, and for storage in Wolford Mountain Reservoir is 50 cfs. Jouflas Ranches, LLC also filed statements of opposition to this application. .
