<br />. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda Item 1. f <br />Case No. 5-06CW096: Application of Eagle River Water and Sanitation District <br /> <br />Application Summary <br /> <br />This is an application. for approval of a plan for augmentation and exchange on the Eagle River <br />near Avon. The Applicant proposes to augment directly or by exchange up to 625 acre-feet of <br />water per year of out-of-priority depletions resulting from municipal and snowmaking diversions <br />at a number of surface and ground water diversion points along the Eagle River and Gore Creek. <br />The Applicant also seeks up to 625 acre-feet of out-of-priority diversion to storage in Wolford <br />Mountain Reservoir. The application specifies several reservoirs in the Egeria Creek basin that <br />include imported water from the Yampa River basin as sources of augmentation. To pernlit the <br />requested out-of-priority diversions, the Applicant proposes to release up to 625 acre-feet of <br />water per year from any part or combination of the Egeria Creek reservoirs and imported water <br />from the Yampa River Basin. The Applicant seeks approval ofa plan to augment by exchange <br />out-of-priority diversions from said diversion points. The downstream terminus of the exchange <br />reach is the confluence of the Colorado and Eagle Rivers and the upstream termini are said <br />diversion points. The Applicant seeks a May 25,2006 priority date for its exchange.
