It takes into account <br />the numbeF of fixtures you have and how <br />much water each uses when operating. <br /> <br />o Perform a meter test for leaks. Turn off all <br />water using equipment and check the <br />meter to see if it is showing water flow <br />(dial is moving). <br /> <br />o Place a dye tablet of food coloring into <br />your toilet tank. If the color appears in the <br />bowl within I 0 minutes, it means you <br />have a leak. <br /> <br />. 0 Adjust the toilet float to a lower position by <br />gently bending the arm or adjusting the <br />screw. <br /> <br />0' Check all faucets for leaks. <br /> <br />IiI Check the toilet flapper valves to see if they <br />are sealed properly. <br /> <br />o 'Check showerheads for leaks. <br /> <br />0' Test the flow rate of your shower. You.will <br />need a one gallon bucket and a watch. <br />Start the shower, then place the bucket <br />directly beneath the showerhead while at <br />the same time you start the timer, watch <br />for I 5 seconds.
