GRANT APPLICATION - PART 2
GRANT CONDITIONS

Applicants for the Office of Water Conservation Grant Program are subject to the following
conditions:

1. The requesting body must be a designated agency as defined and covered by the
definition of a public agency, Section 4 (37-60-125) of HB 1154.

2. The amount of the grant may not exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000).

3. The recipient of funds agrees to commence the work for which the grant funds are
made available within 6 months.

4. Failure to begin the project following receipt of on initial payment will authorize the State
to seek repayment of the grant funds on such terms and conditions as it may
determine.

5. The recipient of funds agrees to develop and adhere to a schedule for State review of
project outputs to assure that the scope and extent of project results are completed as
scheduled.

6. The recipient of funds agrees to notify the State promptly of any problems encountered
during the project.

7. A portion (10%) of project costs will be withheld until Final report completion and
acceptance of Final report documenting results.

8. The applicant agrees to provide a project administrator through its own agency. Project
supervision may be implemented by other sources.
