.

;

Steamboat II Water BE Sanitation District

P.O. Box 1277
Steamboat Springs, Colorado 80477
(303) 879-7671

ESTIMATED PROJECT COSTS

Cost estimate breakdowns for the ~roposed project grant funds can
be broken down into two categories. The first being Equipment or
Devices.A large portion of the grant funds would enable the
District to purchase line location and leak detection devises.
These devises are the key to locating, mapping, and identifying the
service line leaking problems the District has experienced over the
past few years. The estimated cost for these devises is $4300.00.

The second category is to be shown as Miscellaneous. This part of
the proposed funding would be made available for hiring additional
part time personnel to assist the District staff in service line
location, mapping, and leak detection. The estimated cost to be
$700.00.

PROJECT BUDGET

The project budget can be best explained by the chart included in
the Grant application. Grant funds would be divided so that
$4300.00 of the funds be spent on equipment or devises. and the
remaining $700.00 be spent on miscellaneous. No additional funds
have been budgeted by the District in its annual budget other than
the normal repair and maintenance line item. The District is
confident it can complete the proposed project with grant funds,
but is willing to direct additional funds from repair and
maintenance to the project if needed.
