<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />-10- <br /> <br />success of the raw water gravity flow irrigation system, Using <br /> <br />these bi-monthly updates provides an opportunity for adjacent <br /> <br />rural communities to benefit from the Towns research on water <br /> <br />conservation and therefore, possibly implement their own water <br />efficient irrigation systems. <br /> <br />Finally, documentation of the project for demonstration and <br />replication will commence with the construction phase. A video <br />film and accompanying "how to manual" will be developed for other <br />small communities reference. The Town believes that by <br />transferring the knowledge they have learned, and their <br />experiences as well, to other rural communities, they, too, will <br />investigate the opportunities for developing a multiuse water <br />resource such as the Nucla Third Street Reservoir. <br /> <br />6. Describe any innovative features your project and anticipated <br />benefits to your agency and others_ <br /> <br />Nucla's Third Street Reservoir project has a multitude of <br />innovative features. The reservoir will not only act as a water <br />efficient irrigation system for the Town, the reservoir is also <br />provide the citizens of the community with a multiuse <br />recreational facility_ The new irrigation system will reduce thel <br />capital cost associated with compliance to the EPA's Safe <br />Drinking Water Act regulations, extend the life of the current <br />treatment plant, and provide reduction in water cost to the West <br />
