<br />The Town of New Castle's existing water supply facilities consist of a diversion structure on <br />East Elk Creek that supplies water to adjacent sedimentation pond. From the <br />sedimentation pond, water is supplied to the Town's water treatment plant located in Elk <br />Creek Subdivision. From the water plant, potable water is supplied to the Town's <br />distribution system consisting of a variety of distribution pipes ranging in size from 16" <br />diameter down to 6" diameter. The distribution system also consists of two pump stations <br />and three water storage tanks. The tanks are 300,000 gallon, 1,000,000 gallon and 800,000 <br />gallons in size. <br /> <br />For existing facilities indicate: <br />Number of customers served: 965 as of 1/1/03 <br /> <br />1001 as of 6/1/03 <br /> <br />Current Assessment per share $24.50 month in-Town average <br />$34.25 month out-of- Town average <br />Part B. - Description of the Project <br /> <br />1.
