<br />The IWRP will also propose renewable water supply alternatives that would decrease <br />the District's dependence on groundwater. The District has no outstanding loans from <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board or the Colorado Water Resources and Power <br />Development Authority. <br /> <br />1.1 Population and Expected rate of Growth <br /> <br />Population data are not available for the District's service area. However, the Castle <br />Pines North Master Association provided housing data. The residential sector is <br />currently 95 percent built out, with approximately 166 zoned residential lots remaining. <br />An additional 37 acres of commercial and 26 acres of parks are to be developed. Build <br />out is expected to occur by about 2010. <br /> <br />There is an average of 2.88 people per household in Douglas County (U.S. Census <br />Bureau, February 2006).
