Since the actual differential pressure generated is only 237 p.s.i., very <br />little drift should be measured. <br /> <br />PROCEDURE <br /> <br />b <br />.~ <br />:~ <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />CAUTION - Disengage ring-follower hanger <br /> <br />H in NEUTRAL, E and F are CLOSED. <br /> <br />OPEN Band 0 to test ring-follower #1. <br /> <br />OPEN ring follower #1 by shifting G to OPEN until fully opened. <br /> <br />Begin closing the ring-follower by shifting G to CLOSE. <br /> <br />CLOSE D. Immediately mark shaft and measure length and time of drift. <br /> <br />NOTE: If results are erratic, check TRV4, J1, V1 and rod packing for leaks. <br /> <br />Repeat test every six inches of rod movement. CLOSE Band D. Hang gate if left <br />open. <br /> <br />~ <br />iii <br />iJ <br /> <br />WARNING - Re-verify RV1 accurately to 1800 p.s.i. with a dead weight tested gage <br /> <br />CAUTION - Disengage ring-follower hanger <br /> <br />H in NEUTRAL, E and F are CLOSED. <br />
