Plateau Creek Pipeline Replacement Project, Final Environmental Impact Statement, prepared <br />for the Bureau of Land Management, Camp Dresser & Mckee Inc. and others, February 1998. <br /> <br />Feasibility Update for Ute Water Conservancy District Plateau Creek Pipeline Replacement <br />Project, Staff of the Colorado Water Conservation Board with assistance of the staff of the Ute <br />Water Conservancy District, May 1998. <br /> <br />Proiect Descriotion: The District is proposing to replace its existing Plateau Creek Pipeline with <br />a new line from Jerry Creek Reservoirs to the Ute Water Treatment Plant near Palisade as shown <br />on the attached map. The final design includes 14.5 miles of 48-inch and 54-inch diameter steel <br />pipe as well as two tunnels of3,OOO and 10,000 feet in length. The first phase of the project <br />involved 1.5 miles of pipeline and was completed in May 1999. The second and final phase <br />consists of about 13 miles of pipeline and is scheduled for completion in October of 200 1. To <br />date, the District has spent about $7.9 million for planning, permitting, engineering, rights of <br />way and easements and construction. Remaining project costs are estimated at $47.5 million. <br /> <br />Total Estimated Cost: $55,360,000 <br /> <br />Existine: Authorizations: SB 88-30 for a total of$10.6 million (Construction Fund) and SB 99- <br />173 for $7.0 million (Severance Tax Trust Fund) <br /> <br />.
