The application is attached for your review. The City of Northglenn is a <br />municipality that has a legal obligation to supply, distribute, and provide water at retail rates to <br />domestic, industrial, and public facility customers. The town's total demand is over 2,000 acre-feet <br />per year. <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting $16,000 to aid in completing a Water Conservation Plan that meets the <br />requirements outlined in HB1365. The applicant has demonstrated their financial ability to provide <br />25% of the project budget with matching funds in the form of cash and in-kind services. Staff has <br />reviewed and evaluated the grant application and has determined that the proposal meets or exceeds <br />the CWCB guidelines for reviewing grant proposals. Attached is the internal checklist used to <br />evaluate the application as well as the application evaluation criteria. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The OWCDP staff recommends that Rod Kuharich, Director of the CWCB authorize $16,000 to the <br />City of North glenn for completion of their Water Conservation Plan. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
