If funded, Aurora Water will commit the sum <br />of $5,000 to support the project as well as in-kind contributions in the form of facilities <br />and staff time, ifneeded. <br /> <br />Aurora Water fully embraces the importance of water conservation, water use efficiency <br />and wise water use in our community's efforts to manage our most precious water <br />resources now and into the future. As a water conservation leader, Aurora Water <br />recognizes the absolute necessity for water conservation and the important role it will <br />take in shaping our community. <br /> <br />This propo~t:d project would fulfill a much needed outreach component to those <br />communities and entities lacking the staff and/or knowledge base to carry out more <br />meaningful water conservation programs. By harnessing the collective knowledge and <br />experience of the Colorado water conservation community, this project cJoses the gap <br />between smaller water providers and their ability to carry out important conservation <br /> <br />programs, <br /> <br />We strongly encourage the CWCB and the Office of Water Conservation and Drought <br />Planning to consider the merits of the WRA grant application and award the requested <br />
