<br />o <br />o <br />W <br />~ <br />00 <br />o <br /> <br />In accordance with the Articles of Organization and Procedure, problems and <br />business of AWRBIAC, either technical or general in nature, which require <br />continuing but m::>re detailed consideration than can be ~iven by the AWR <br />Committee as a whole, are referred to appropriate stand~~ committees. <br />These are the Administrative Committee; the Standing C~ttees on Basic <br />Data Collection; Exchange of Program Infonnation; and EnvirOlll'laltal <br />Resources. Continuing "work groups" in the field of topographic mapping, <br />land use, minerals and ~eology, and hydroneteorological have been in <br />operation. Ad hoc c~ttees are appointed to deal with special transitory <br />technical and policy problems as they arise. An Ad Hoc Committee on <br />the 1975 Assessment was fomed at the April 1972 lIEeting c~sed of <br />members frcxn each Federal and state agency. The Ad Hoc Camuttee on the 1975 <br />Assessment was given standing comrnittee status as the Comprehensive <br />Planning Committee in anticipation of continuing activity.
