Consider and make recommendations to ^WRBIAC on methods of operation to improve <br />the exchange of pronram information in the' interest of coordination of anticipated <br />studies, studies in progress, planning, programs, project construction status, and <br />project operation of the states and federal construction agencies, and such other <br />"'related matters of exchange of program information as may be brought to the attention <br />of the committee by AWRBIAC or its members. <br /> <br />-2. Remain sufficiently familiar with the activities of the states and federal <br />agencies to identify problems and potential problems involving exchange of information, <br />and recommend solutions thereto. <br /> <br />3. Prepare reports, as needed, to reflect progress and status of planning, con- <br />struction, operation, and other program activities relating to project development <br />of states and federal construction agencies. <br /> <br />CHARGE - FY 1977 <br /> <br />1. Prepare and publiSh preauthorization and construction status reports of the states <br />and federal construction agencies and present a summary version before the AWRBI^C at <br />the October meeting. <br /> <br />2. In addition to the above continuing annual assignment: <br /> <br />a. Prepare a report for annual presentation to the AWRBIAC beginning at the <br />October FY 1974 neeting on the operations of projects of the states and <br />federal construction agencies. It is envisioned that each state and <br />agency prepare separate reports of its respective activity. <br /> <br />Also it is envisioned, in this part of EPIC's assignment, that the pre- <br />authorization and construction status reports called for in paragraph 1 <br />above would be followed by a separate report which sets forth how the <br />projects were operated during the 1 ast fi scal year; how they are expected <br />to be operated during the next fiscal year; and what beneficial and adverse <br />effects resulted therefrom. This cons i derati on of project operation shoul d <br />be confined to operational activity and related problems of such signifi- <br />cance deserving attention of AWRBIAC. <br /> <br />b. Prepare a report on rainmaking activities under Federal and State programs <br />in the AWR basins 'for initial presentation at the October 1974 meeting of <br />the AWRBIAC. <br /> <br />The above presentations should be informative as well as being fully objective in <br />pointing up areas of project development wherein the AWRBIAC, through discussion, <br />might broaden understanding and improve interagency coordination. <br /> <br />3.
