<br />o <br />o <br />(JJ <br />00 <br /><l:l <br />"', <br /> <br />APPENDIX 1 <br />CHARGES TO CCM1ITIEES <br />AWRBIAC <br /> <br />OVERVIEW <br /> <br />The Ad Hoc Catmittee for Oq~anizational Review developed IT 1977 charges <br />to the Exchange of Program Carmittee, the Basic Data Ccrnnittee, the newly- <br />forned EnviLvu,eutal Resources and Canprehensive Planning Carmittees, and <br />the proposed Water Related Research Standing Catmittee. The charges <br />were developed to support the Main Catmittee program as in past years plus <br />to carry out the developrent of an Annual Prioritizin~ Report and a <br />Canprehensive Coordinated Joint Plan for the Basin wtuch are elements of <br />a Water Assessrrent and Appraisal Program proposed by the WRC. The <br />Committee elected not to adopt the charges related to the WAAP until <br />financial arrangements could be worked out with the WRC to effectively <br />acc<;J11{llish the assignnents and until the WRC program becarre IIDre <br />definltive. The Water Related Research Carmi.ttee was not established <br />by the Main Catmittee; hence, these charges were dropped. The charges that <br />governed the Catmittee operation were those applicable to IT 1976 and are <br />reported herein. The EnvirQ[J[1E!ltal Resources Catmittee carried out the <br />charges previoosly developed for the Qttdoor Recreation, Fish and Wildlife <br />Standing Comnittee and the EnvirOIllll2ntal QJality Standing Carmittee. <br /> <br />17 <br />
