Presently. the Corps of Engineers <br /> <br /> <br />releases water from a gate located at the top of the release structure, <br /> <br /> <br />By adjusting the release to a lower gate and providing a continuous <br /> <br /> <br />release. a more complete mixing of the water column is expected. <br /> <br /> <br />Assuming the park surrounding the reservoir is developed to its expected <br /> <br /> <br />potential, it is likely that residential development will be attracted <br /> <br /> <br />to the area. This may necessitate that local governments adopt erosion <br /> <br /> <br />control ordinances to prevent accellerated erosion. The local <br /> <br /> <br />governments may also be encouraged to implement best management <br /> <br /> <br />practices to control other runoff related problems. <br /> <br />F.
