The attached figures show the locati on of <br /> <br /> <br />the reservoir and its drainage basin. The dam and reservoir were author- <br /> <br /> <br />ized under the Flood Control Act of 1968, Senate Document No,87, 90th <br /> <br /> <br />Congress, 2nd Session. Designed and constructed by the Army Corps of <br /> <br /> <br />Engineers in 1979, the dam is located on Bear Creek, approximately 8 miles <br /> <br /> <br />upstream of its confluence with the South Platte River. <br /> <br />C.
