If calculations indicate that the reservoir might nol
fill, no water is released for additional power generation. Any power generation
that occurs at the dam is incidental to the municipal water supply purpose of the
reservoir. Additionally, Denver Water must bypass 15 cfs or the natural inflow,
whichever is less, from the Williams Fork Reservoir year-round to satisfy its
license conditions.

To minimize the potential for icing damage on the spillway gates, the reservoir is
lowered to lhe bottom of the spillway gate (elevation 7,803.00 feet; 84,565 acre-
feet) by the end of November or mid-December.

Denver Water's Planning Division manages the operalion of Williams Fork
Reservoir and maintains lhe operation records, including the daily elevation.
con lent, inflow and outflow.
