The reservoir was drawn
down to about elevation 445 feet
with an active storage of about
529,200 acre-Ieet in December and
remained near that level through
mid.March to provide flood con.
trolspace for runoff from the
drainage area between Davis and
Parker Dams. The water level was
then raised to about elevation 450
feet by mid-May. During mid.May
through June, the reservoir water
level was maintained near maxi.
mum, with an active storage of
ahout 605,000 acre. feet, and then
,",-,as drawn down to 447 feet with
an active storage of 569AOO acre.
leet by the end of the water year.

During the water year, 6,978AOO
acre. feet were released at Parker
Dam, all of which passed through
the turbines f.or power production.

Joint-use space in the top 10 feet
01 Lake Havasu (ahout 180,000
acre. feet ) is reserved by the
United States for control of /load,
and other uses, including river
regulation.
