The April.J uly inflow <br />forecast on March 1 was 660,000 <br />acre-feet. Based on the March 1 <br />forecast, the current flood control <br />diagram allowed the reservoir to <br />he full, and the scheduled opera. <br />tion of the reservoir did not in- <br />clude any releases specifically <br />required for flood control. The reservoir water <br />surface wag lowered to elevation <br />6,023 feet during the winter of <br />1974 and spring of 1975. The <br />actual April-July inflow to Navajo <br />Reservoir was 1,114,000 acre.feet, <br />or 153 percent of the long. time <br />April-July runoff average ahove <br />Navajo.
