Mostly cream 'colored to gra)' chalk, shaley limestone, and limey shale. <br />Yields water to wells in areas where the formanon has been exposed to long periods of weathering. <br />Source of limited supplies of water where directly overlain by saturated sands and gravels in the <br />Pleistocene depOsits or the Ogallala Formation. <br /> <br />Dakota Formation.. Sandstone, with clay, claystone, siltstone, and sandy sill:.
