<br />BURLINGTON, Colora4o-Mrs. Wayne Schiffner, wife of a farm~
<br />er llving four mlles west of this Eastern Colorado town and mother
<br />of six young daughters, had been wanting an electric range for some
<br />time. She has most of'the other major electric appliances,
<br />Mrs. Schiffner entered the recent
<br />"My Favorite Appllance" contest eon-
<br />ducted by the Colorado Rural Elec.
<br />tric News. She told how the electric
<br />washing machine' was' her favorite
<br />and explained that In the 10 years
<br />she hWl had her washer she has
<br />Washed 8,620 pieces of bedding, 14,"
<br />586 pieces 01 household furnishings,
<br />4!5,4!54 pieces 01 clothing, and 37,440
<br />diapers, tor a grand total 01 106,100
<br />pieces.

<br />to good advantage such as mixer,
<br />deep fat dryer and otp,ers.

<br />dur and the eldest daughter, Kathie,
<br />all play musical Instruments and
<br />like to_sing. They often entertain at
<br />community gatherings.
