Colorado Gentlemen: We have examined the receipts and disbursements of the Arka.ns;.-tii River Compact Administration for the fiscal year ended Ocrober 31, 1962. Our examination was made in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and acconJmgly included such tests of the accounting records and such other auditing procedures as we. considered necessary in the circumstances. We submit herewith the following Financial Statements: Exhibit A-Statement of Receipts anJ Disbursements and Changes in Fund Balance for the fiscal Year ended Octo- ber 31,1962. Schedule I-Statement of Receipts and Dlsburscmcnts com- pared WIth Budget for the Budget Year July 1. 1961 to June 30, 1962. In the mmutes of the meeting of September 21, 1962 a motion was made and 3 pproved to call upon Colorado and KanS;1S for operat' ing funds for this year, however, these funds were not received as of October 31, 1962 and accordingly for the fiscal year ended October 31. 1962 there arc no receipts. The disbursements as listed, were all supported by cancelled checks drawn on the Compact's bank account. Amounts so expended were substantiated by verification of payee's statements authorization of pay- ment as evidenced in minutes of the Compact's meetings. and/or other supporting documents. The secretary's travel expense for the fiscal year ended October 31, 1961 was $113.28. He drove 1,016 miles ,t $0.08 per mile for $81.28 plus 32 days reading gage at Lamar at $1.00 per d,y. 14
