'.J_...... <br /> <br />Identify resource information gaps and make recom- <br />mendations to address same. <br /> <br />TF #2-9- Impacts (see Annexes A and C for additional details): <br /> <br />Tasks general to all Impact Assessment Task Forces, <br /> <br />Identify potential and existing drought related problems. <br /> <br />Further define and assess societal impacts, severity, <br />1055 and costs; evaluate State and local capacity for <br />response; determine residual needs. <br /> <br />Report findings to: <br /> <br />o Review and Reporting TF. <br />o Lead response agencies (see Response Task <br />Organizat ion). <br />o Economic TF (Economic Loss Oata). <br /> <br />Specific Tasks: <br /> <br />TF #2 - Municipal Water: <br /> <br />Assessments should emphasize identification of municipal <br />water supply sources, such as reservoirs, direct stream- <br />flow, ground water. <br /> <br />System capabil ity to withstand drought impact. <br /> <br />Include analysis of municipal fire fighting capacities <br />related to low system pressures or low supplies. <br /> <br />TF #3 - Wildfire Protection: <br /> <br />Identify high priority threats. <br /> <br />Assessments should emphasize fire protection capabilities, <br />resources, outside sources of assistance. <br /> <br />TF #4 - Agricul tural Industry: <br /> <br />Assessments should emphasize soil erosion, crop and <br />livestock 1055, insect and pest problems. <br /> <br />Cred i t. <br /> <br />TF #5 - Commerce and Tourism: <br /> <br />Assessments should emphasize loss of sales tax revenues, <br />increase in unemployment, and decreases in tourism <br />visitation levels and lodging receipts. <br /> <br />Identify major commercial and industrial problem areas. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
