If present trends continue other <br />river basins and sectors of the entire State's economy may soon be <br />affected. <br /> <br />Under these circumstances, I have decided to activate the State's Drought <br />Response Plan (DRP) so that specific impacts may be identified, and <br />expeditious and effective remedial action may be taken. <br /> <br />As of the date of this memorandum, the Colorado Drought Response Plan is <br />in effect; the following actions, as specified in the plan will be taken. <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />The Review and Reporting Task Force wil I be activated under <br />chairmanshtp of Director, DODES. The first meeting of the <br />Task Force will be held within 5 days of receipt of this <br />memorandum. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />(All) Impact <br /> <br />Task Forces: municipal, wildfire, <br />will be activated. <br />their first meeting as soon as <br />Reporting Task Force meeting. <br /> <br />, , <br />The TF chairpersons will call <br />possible after the Review and <br /> <br />(J) <br /> <br />All addressees wi 11 assign: (1) A senior level manager who can <br />commit the resources of the Department as a Drought Coordinator <br />and (2) TF chairpersons and participants as indicated in <br />Appendix 6, DRP, "Task Organi'zation." <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />Lead Agencies for drought response will be prepared to take <br />action as appropriate. <br /> <br />12 <br />
