0:>
;(~
","'
'F'~

'-_.)

(" .,
--

.

.

Implementation Strategy

Accordingly, we are now at work on the project with the AQUATRAIN concept
of industry and government working together to solve problems for our
society without huge government funding. A continuing relationship of
the cooperative nature historically shown by the Department of the Interior
and the seven states in the Colorado River drainage is vital to the success
of AQUATRAIN. However, in order to maximize the effort that has been
initiated, the basis for cooperation must be expanded. We are vitally
interested in Mr. Broadbent's plan for the coordination needed within
the Administration to aid in this effort, and are grateful for the outstanding
work of the Department of the Interior and its dedicated people. Eventually
other departments of the Federal Government may be involved, including
1) Defense, 2) Energy, 3) Commerce, 4) State, 5) Agriculture, and 6) Treasury.

We will welcome your comments and guidance.

3
