There was no acute standard for iron. Two samples collected at Granire <br /> <br />exceeded the chronic standard for dissolved iron (300 J.lg/L). The chronic total-recoverable iron standard (1,000 <br /> <br />J.lg/L) was exceeded in only two samples that were collected at Leadville, although the frequency of exceedance <br /> <br />increased downstream to a maximum of I I exceedances at Portland (table 12).
