In addition to these two gaging stations with <br />relatively long periods of measured daily sediment loads, daily sediment <br />measurements for periods as long as several weeks, as well as intermittent <br />Instantaneous measurements, have been made at several other gaging stations <br />throughout the Yampa River basin (fig. 1). The frequency and period of <br />record of these measurements are noted in table 1. Several gaging stations <br />have different periods of streamflow record. Suspended-sediment samples were <br />collected Intermittently at most of the active gaging stations during the <br />1976 and 1977 water years as part of the Yampa River Basin Assessment.
