<br />--1 <br /> <br />o <br />o <br />C-) <br />en <br />-.J <br />Q) <br /> <br />1 <br />.J <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />"/ <br />, <br /> <br />Effect of Williams Fork and Dillon on Green Mountain Reservoir <br /> <br />o Williams Fork Reservoir provides replacement for out-ot-priority diversions by the <br /> <br />Fraser River Diversion Project, the Williams Fork Diversion Project, the Roberts <br /> <br /> <br />Tunnel, and storage in Dillon Reservoir. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Dillon Reservoir is allowed to store out-ot-priority ahead ot Green Mountain Reservoir <br /> <br />under the condition that it satisfy the one-fill requirement ot Green Mountain <br /> <br />Reservoir by the end ot the water year. Calls by Green Mountain Reservoir are met <br /> <br />first by releases from,Williams Fork Reservoir up to its power plant capacity (assumed <br /> <br />to be 300 cts tor this Study). When Williams Fork is not able to provide water, the call <br /> <br /> <br />is transterred to Dillon Reservoir. These releases are credited against the Green <br /> <br />Mountain fill requirement. Any unsatisfied amount owed to Green Mountain is <br /> <br />transferred in September from Dillon Reservoir to Green Mountain Reservoir. <br /> <br />Rules tor Other Reservoirs <br /> <br />o Homestake Reservoir is operated to provide water to Aurora and Colorado Springs <br /> <br /> <br />through the Homestake Tunnel. <br /> <br />o Under the Existing-Level Use Scenario, Ruedi Reservoir is operated to provide <br /> <br /> <br />replacement water tor Fryingpan-Arkansas Project diversions made out-ot-priority, <br /> <br />For Future-Level Use Scenarios, the release requirement tor water sales Is also <br /> <br />incorporated. <br /> <br />o Windy Gap is operated as a transbasin diversion limited by a 600 cts pumping <br />capacity. <br /> <br />4.5 <br />
