C. 20250 <br /> <br />lfovember 22, 1966 <br /> <br />RIVER BASINS MEMORANDUM-9 (Rev. 1) <br /> <br />Re: Status of River Basin Surveys <br /> <br />This memorandum sets forth the status of river basin sur- <br />veys in which the Department of Agriculture is engaged. <br />River Basins Memorandum-9 dated April 15, 1965, and Supple- <br />ment 1 dated January 20, 1966, are cancelled. <br /> <br />Within the Department, the Service is responsible for <br />leadership in river basin activities. The Soil Conserva- <br />tion Service, therefore, must keep field offices informed <br />and up-to-date regarding the status of river basin surveys. <br /> <br />Attachment 1 is a set of maps which show the location and <br />status of all Type I, II, and IV surveys. It also provides <br />information with respect to the general features of each <br />type of survey.
