<br />SAN JUAN-CHAMA <br />WATER ACCOUNTING <br />ALBUQUERQUE PROJECTS OFFICE <br />JANUARY 1994 <br /> <br />The natural inflow into Heron Reservoir during the month of January was computed <br />to be 160 acre-feet (af) as shown on Table 3. Net San Juan-Chama losses were <br />170 af as shown on Table 2. There was no San Juan-Chama water diverted through <br />Azotea Tunnel during January. <br /> <br />There were 7,521 af of San Juan-Chama water released from Heron during the month <br />of January. 5,331 af was released from the City of Albuquerque's pool and the <br />remaining 2,190 af was from the Cochiti pool. <br /> <br />A summary sheet is provided for water delivered from Heron, El Vado, and Abiquiu <br />Reservoirs. <br /> <br />Total precipitation reported at <br />inches which is 43% of normal. <br />summarized in Tables 1-3. <br /> <br />Heron Reservoir for the month of January was 0.64 <br />The monthly computations for Heron Reservoir ar, <br /> <br />Total inflow into Nambe Falls Reservoir was computed to be 220 af. Evaporation <br />loss on the reservoir was 0 af. Table 4 summarizes San Juan-Chama water at <br />Otowi. <br /> <br />Estimated sediment deposition in the San Juan-Chama pools at Cochiti, Abiquiu, <br />and Jemez Canyon Reservoirs are presented in Tables 5A-5C. <br /> <br />storage and evaporation of Rio Grande water in El Vado and Abiquiu reservoirs are <br />shown on Table 6. <br /> <br />All data are provisional and subject to revision as final data are collected and <br />analyzed. <br />
